Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which CampusGate issues refunds for IMAT mock exam purchases. We aim to be fair: if you have not used what you paid for, you are entitled to a refund.
1. Single mock exam (€15)
You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that:
- You have not started the mock exam
- The 14-day window has not expired
Once you click "Start Exam" the digital service is considered fully delivered (Article 16(m) of EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU) and a refund is no longer available for that exam.
2. Mock exam packs (€60 for 5 exams, etc.)
You are entitled to a partial refund within 14 days of purchase calculated as follows:
Refund amount = pack price − (number of exams started × €15)
Examples:
- You bought a 5-exam pack for €60 and started 0 exams: refund €60 (full)
- You started 1 exam: refund €60 − €15 = €45
- You started 4 exams: refund €60 − €60 = €0 (no refund)
3. Technical issues
If a mock exam was disrupted by a verifiable platform-side technical problem (e.g., server outage, exam session error preventing submission), we will:
- Restore your session at no extra charge, OR
- Issue a full refund for the affected exam
To request, email [email protected] within 7 days with your exam session ID and a description of the issue.
4. Duplicate purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same exam pack twice within 24 hours, contact support for an automatic refund of the duplicate.
5. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] from the email you used at purchase
- Include your order ID (visible in the confirmation email) and reason
- We respond within 3 business days
- Approved refunds are issued via Stripe to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
6. Currency and fees
Refunds are issued in the currency of original payment (EUR). Stripe processing fees on the original payment are not refundable to us by Stripe but we absorb that cost — you receive the full refund amount.
7. Disputes
If your refund request is denied, you may escalate to [email protected]. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably. If you are an EU consumer you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
8. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. By starting an exam, you expressly consent to early performance of the digital service and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon starting the exam.
