These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CampusGate Exam platform operated by CampusGate ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Each individual may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts will be terminated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental consent.
2. Exam Conduct Rules
Academic integrity is the foundation of our platform. All exam participants must adhere to strict conduct standards during exam sessions.
During exams, you agree to:
- Work independently without external assistance from any person, website, or resource not explicitly permitted.
- Keep your camera enabled at all times during proctored exam sessions.
- Remain within the exam application window — leaving or switching applications is monitored and flagged.
- Not use screen sharing, remote desktop, or any screen capture tools.
- Not communicate with others through any means during an active exam session.
- Comply with kiosk mode restrictions that prevent access to other applications.
3. Proctoring Consent
By participating in proctored exams, you consent to:
- Camera monitoring — Your webcam will capture video during the exam for identity verification and integrity monitoring.
- Activity logging — Application focus, browser events, and system activity are recorded during exams.
- Browser restrictions — The secure exam browser limits access to other applications and websites.
- Automated detection — AI-powered systems may analyze activity for suspicious behavior patterns.
4. Exam Tokens & Access
- Exam tokens are single-use and non-transferable. Each token grants access to one specific exam session.
- Tokens must be used within the scheduled exam window. Expired tokens cannot be reused.
- Sharing, selling, or distributing exam tokens to others is strictly prohibited.
- Lost or compromised tokens should be reported immediately to support.
5. Intellectual Property
All exam content, including questions, answer options, images, and explanations, is the proprietary intellectual property of CampusGate and its content partners.
- You may not copy, reproduce, screenshot, photograph, or record any exam content.
- Sharing exam questions or answers on any platform (social media, forums, messaging apps) is prohibited.
- Attempting to extract or reverse-engineer exam content from the platform is a violation of these Terms.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities will result in immediate action, including exam invalidation and potential account termination.
- Tampering with, modifying, or attempting to bypass the secure exam browser or proctoring software.
- Using VPNs, proxies, or other tools to mask your location or bypass geographic restrictions.
- Creating multiple accounts or using another person's account.
- Distributing, selling, or publicly sharing exam content in any form.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to platform systems, databases, or other users' data.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform.
7. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to take the following actions in response to Terms violations:
- Exam invalidation — Results may be voided if integrity violations are detected.
- Account suspension — Temporary restriction of access pending investigation.
- Account termination — Permanent ban from the platform for serious or repeated violations.
You will be notified of any action taken and may appeal through our support channel.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide a reliable service:
- We are not responsible for exam disruptions caused by your internet connection, hardware failures, or power outages.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance.
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific exam session affected.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
